Have you ever wondered why Cold Pressed Flaxseed oil develops a bitter taste?

Recent research has identified that Cold Pressed Flaxseed Oil and the seeds of Flaxseed contain a cylic-peptide called cylolinopeptide E or CLE for short. In other words, eight amino acids have formed together in a circle to form this cyclic peptide.

In fact there are several other cylic peptides present in flaxseed.

reseach has shown that cyclolinopeptide E (CLE) has demonstrated immunosuppressive activity.
